Folio. 145pp. Illustrated throughout with plans, diagrams, figures, and 16 unnumbered "special" full page lithographic plates in each of the twelve numbers. Owner's small ink stamp: "L.D. Cleaveland, Architect" on the title page and contents page. Contemporary half morocco and cloth boards, gilt spine and raised bands, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Some scuffing to the morocco at the corners and edges board edges, very good. The text pages and plates are clean and tight. L.D. Cleaveland, a noted late 19th Century Chicago based architect, was Superintendent of Buildings for the State of Illinois. Very uncommon. *OCLC* locates only one copy in Canada.
