Report upon Natural History Collections Made in Alaska Between the Years 1877 and 1881

4to cloth, 20 (of 21) plates. Missing a black and white illustration (plate 17). Endpapers creased or torn. Overall a little loose, but in tact. Some minor tears at the extremities of binding, bottom of spine torn. 12 of the illustrations are chromolithographs. The work is in four parts, but birds represent the most important section, and contains all the color illustrations. This section also includes a bibliography of Alaskan ornithology. Other parts focus on fishes and mammals.
