Middleton Evans is a Baltimore native who has spent most of his career pictorially documenting the various faces of Maryland. In 2001, Maryland Public Television selected Evans as one of six local photographers to be featured in the documentary film Images of Maryland: 1900-2000. Maryland in Focus was his first published volume, following a 2-year excursion throughout the State. Subsequently, he produced a volume on Baltimore, another on Maryland Great Outdoors, and more. Maryland in Focus contians 256 full-color photographs, many of them full-page or two-page, from throughout the State and on a wide variety of subjects. Large quarto.
