2 volumes, 8vo, period half morocco and marbled boards, gilt lettered vellum spine labels, top edges gilt, illustrated, 498, 543 pp. General scuffing to leather, tear at spine on volume 1, a few inkstamps, page corners a little bumped at the beginning of volume I, slight aging; else very good. Regimental coat of arms hand-painted on silk panel tipped into volume one. The set contains 11 steel engraved portraits, and dozens of woodcut engravings and vignettes. Clark covers the regiment military activities from the war in 1812 to the Civil War. There are also many short biographies on officers in this unit.
