Folio, original cloth with leather spine, gilt title on front cover, over 40 colored maps. Both covers almost detached, tape repars to spine, spine chipped and worn, first five pages of preliminaries and final map significantlly creased (including title page). Map of Pennsylvania has margin tears and somewhat soiled, other maps bright and colorful. Despite the condition of binding, all but two of the over forty maps are bright and clean. Considerable detail in the maps, and the atlas even includes a page of Altoona business notices (page 41).
