The spine is subtly rolled, and there is a tiny nick in the cloth along the bottom edge of the front cover. The dust jacket is in very good condition. The jacket has a couple of light scratches. The longer scratch is on the front panel and measures 10 inches long. It is very light and thin however. The edges of the inside flaps are mildly yellowed. Willem de Kooning was recognized as one of the leaders of the New York School by 1950. This book focuses on eighty-four of de Kooning's finest paintings.
