Light rubbing to extremities, front hinge cracked, bookseller ticket to front pastedown. Some toning to text, light foxing and negligible dampstaining in places. An attractive copy. $250. * Reissue of the second and final edition (1840). A highly regarded dictionary dealing with commercial law, commerce and political economy. According to the preface, it was intended to be a companion to the author's Codigo Commercial Portuguez (1836). It was originally published in 1839. Both editions of this dictionary are rare.
