Folio, original 16 part series, original blue printed paper wrappers, illustrated, 512 pp. Spines of some parts sunned and faded, some covers are a little loose, some minor chipping and nicks to extremities, some modest aging, but contents are generally clean and bright. Handsome set on the history of the Civil War, illustrated with photographs by Mathew B. Brady. Each part in the series includes one full page color illustration. The almost haunting quality of the Brady photographs makes this somewhat concise history of the war stand out.
