This is essentially a railroad guide loaded with information. It contains rail and stage schedules and routes, including a large folding Union Pacific Railroad schedule. In addition to a large folding colored map of the world, this guide contains folding maps of Salt Lake City, Yellowstone National Park and Omaha and Council Bluffs. There are over twenty full page engravings of views of America, including the Great Plains, Sierra Nevada Mountains, Donner Lake, mining activities in the west, and the meeting of the eastern and western railroads.
