Hardcover. 179pp. Quarto [28.5 cm] Ivory and tan paper covered boards with a brown ink stamped title on the spine, and a brown ink stamped natural vignette on the front cover. Very good. The head of the spine is bumped. The edges of the covers are lightly rubbed and stained. There is an enormous multitude of small dark stains on the top edge of the text block. Most likely foxing. Some of these stains are just barely visible in the top edges of the pages. The pages are quite clean. Foreword by Lawrence Clark Powell. The best available reference work on John Muir.
