The spine ends and edges of the covers are slightly rubbed, bumped and faded. There are library numbers on the subtly rolled spine. There is a 1/4 inch long split in the cloth near the head of the spine. The underlying boards are just beginning to peek through at the corners. There is a library label on the front pastedown. The verso of the rear free endsheet has a library label, and a small numerical notation in pen. Contemporary owner's name in pencil on the front flyleaf.
