Color print from an original photograph of Nottingham Castle. An artistic rendering that also provides a good level of architectural detail. The print depicts the portion of the castle facing the River Trent. While this fortress dates back to the time of William the Conqueror, it went through numerous renovations, most notably reconstruction after being burned by rioters in 1831.
