Chicago: Follett Publishing Company, 1957. Ninth printing. Hardcover. Mary Stevens. 27pp. Thin square octavo [20.5 cm] Yellow paper covered boards with red ink stamped title information on the spine and front cover, and a red ink stamped vignette on the front cover. Very good. The edges of the spine and covers are subtly bumped and abraded. There are three tiny stains on the rear board. There is a thin crack in the inside margin of the front pastedown, measuring under 1/2 of an inch long. Faint previous owner's name in pencil on the title page. In a dust jacket, which is in very good condition, with light soiling, and a 7 and 1/2 inch crease in the front panel. There are multiple small losses from the edges, particularly at the spine ends and folds of the flaps. There are also a couple of closed tears in the edges, the longest measuring 2 inches long. Despite these flaws, the jacket is quite attractive. A Follett Beginning-to-Read Award Winner.
