There is a previous owner's name on the top edge of the front cover, and the subject's name has been written in pen on the spine. The cloth at the spine ends is a little frayed. The wraps have several very short light marks. The pages are clean. From the Abstract- "This study presents the life facts of John Hafen and examines his attitude changes as well as the changes in his art throughout his life. It catalogs with photographs the majority of Hafen's paintings.
