By Eastlake, William
New York: Simon and Schuster, 1963. First edition. Hardcover. 221pp. Octavo [20 cm] 1/2 brown cloth with tan illustrated paper covered boards. Very good. The extremities are very gently rubbed, bumped and faded. There is a very mild slant to the spine. The top edge of the text block is stained and discolored, and there is a very tiny light stain on the bottom edge of the text block. Very minor spine roll. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front pastedown. Internally, very clean. In a very good dust jacket. Lightly soiled and stained. The edges have multiple large chips and small closed tears. The longest closed tear measures 1/2 inch long. Third work from the late New York novelist. William Eastlake's main interests are good cattle, good horses, and the plight of the Navajo Indians.
