This political songster includes a number of pro Garfield sons, including Boatman Jim, Garfield’s at the Front, and Hurrah for General Garfield. There is even a song about the national debt ($6.2 billion), which according to the song reflects a lot of expenditures related to the "War of the Rebellion."
