London: The Western Book Club, 1957. Hardcover. 169pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Brown paper covered boards with a black ink stamped title on the spine. Very good. Slight spine roll. The extremities are very gently bumped and rubbed, and the bottom edge of the text block is just a little bit soiled. Tanned pages. In a good only dust jacket. Mild rubbing, age-toning and edge wear. The rear panel is soiled and a little stained. Despite these flaws, the jacket is still quite attractive. Jack Schaefer was the author of Shane.
