There are several small light stains on the pages at the beginning of the text. The binding is fragile. Yellowed pages. Walt Kelly's career in animation began in 1936 at Walt Disney Studios, where he contributed to Pinocchio and Fantasia. In 1941, Kelly resigned at the age of 28 to work at Dell Comics, where he created Pogo.
