México 1944 - 1982) containing 11 well-constructed short stories inspired in the 1960's Mexican middle class society and full of translated epigraphs of love songs of the Rolling Stones. Largely written in a colloquial and heterogeneous language the narrative is inspired in the "conventional values" of a bored urban middle class. García Saldaña's novels were the voice of the Mexican young generation of the 1960's and with only 4 printed novels his work represented a rupture with the Mexican literature of the second half of the 20th century who insisted on evoking the Mexican Revolution.
