Top edge gilt. Decorative endsheets. Good. The extremities are gently rubbed, and the spine is subtly faded. There are about 5 small, but slightly more prominent, abraded areas along the rear joint. The text block is cracked multiple times at the center, however the book is still sturdy. Tanned pages. A very attractive gilt stamped leather binding. C. C. Goodwin was the editor of Salt Lake Daily Tribune.
