  • Washington:: Government Printing Office,, 1917.
By Georgeson, C.C.
Pamphlet, 8vo, printed paper wrapper, illustrated with 4 pages of photographs and folding map, 30 pp. Slight creasing of back cover, cover and contents a little aged; otherwise very good plus. Interesting work on the Alaskan frontier directed at potential settlers. The pamphlet includes information on climate, where to locate, how to obtain a farm, population, schools, and the cost of living. There are four pages of photographs illustrating various homesteads, and a 17" x 20" folding map, in excellent condition, that shows agricultural development and expansion.
