By Alexander Campbell
New York: Pyramid Books No. G-511, 1960. First Edition. First Edition, a paperback original. An emotionally immature woman meets a forlorn sailor at a church in Liverpool. It doesn't get any better. Cover at by Victor Kalin, who, in addition to magazines and paperbacks, illustrated military training manuals and three-dimensional assembly drawings. He also illustrated covers for all of Mary Roberts Rinehart's Dell paperback editions.

Very Good plus in illustrated wrappers. Light rubbing overall, a numerical notation in ink to the top page edges, and tiny bruise on the front panel. Scarce.
