The film went on to win Academy Awards for the director, Jane Campion (Best Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen) and for Holly Hunter and Anna Paquin (Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively). This is a very handsome copy of one of the hardest to secure items of ephemera for this film.
