By Rogers, L.W.
Pamphlet, small 8vo, original printed wrappers, 16 pp. Wrappers partially torn, but still attached, a couple of minor chips at extremities, normal aging; otherwise very good. Rogers (1859-1953) was a union leader and political activist who would eventually become involved in mysticism. He was a noted writer on the subject, and would serve as the President of the Theosophical Society. The present work, which started as a lecture, looks at the dynamics of evolution and the spiritual aspects of man. The back cover lists some of Rogers' other lectures.
