Minor soiling to slipcase, else fine. 101 pp. 4to. An uncommon typescript copy of Auden's Pulitzer Prize-winning poem, prepared by a collector and signed by Auden at the poem's conclusion. "The Age of Anxiety," a six-part ecologue concerned with the increasing industrialization of modern life, served as the basis for a symphony composed by Leonard Bernstein shortly after its initial publication, and remains highly regarded as one of Auden's major works today.
