Seven issues, 4to, illustrated paper covers, illustrated with wood engravings. Scattered foxing, and some aging and browning, a few chips and tears (mostly in margins), and margin and corner folds, one issue with paper spine partially gone, also some tears or splits at the center; despite these imperfections all issues are complete, and in nice shape overall. A nice group of this wonderfully illustrated popular agricultural magazine. Not a consecutive run, but all issues were published in 1884 and 1885.In addition to the attractive illustrations, there are some nice ads, including those for Ivory Soap, Marlin Rifles, Mellin's Food and Atlas Engine Works.
