1901. Unbound. Near Fine. Gelatin silver photograph. Image size 6.5" x 4.5" , 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches, mounted on card stock. Mount has one corner chipped, near fine. On verso in pencil in a hand different from the title: "Compliments of James Y. Risk / 412 W. 19 St. / N.Y, N.Y.". In yet a third hand in pencil: "March 1st to 28, 1901." Image depicts a southern coastal canal at low tide, surrounded by typical Southern vegetation of palmettos, pines, vines, and other scrub brush.
