Trenton, New Jersey: Albert Brandt, 1905. Near Fine. A unique collection of materials from New Jersey printer and publisher Albert Brandt, a progressive-minded reformer who published the works of prominent American naturalists and artists, as well as *The Arena*, an important radical magazine. The collection consists of 10 books printed at his press in Trenton from 1893-1905 (seven with the scarce dust jackets), 20 proof illustrations and printer’s mock-ups, six original drawings, and related ephemera. All 10 books are very good, with five in very good dust jackets, one in a fair dust jacket, and one in the rarely seen publisher’s unopened outer paper wrapper. A detailed list is available upon request.
