Signed (“Hank Williams”) in pen on the front cover, five months before his death. With a note by the previous owner explaining when she (a young women at the time) obtained the autograph, “Saw him at Sunset Park — Jennersville, Pa. July 13, 1952. Died Jan. 1 — 1953,” and a note on p. 39 beneath a photo of The Drifting Cowboys, “Saw two of the Drifting Cowboys, Jerry Rivers and Don Helms. At Sunset Park … ”

Towards the end of the show Williams can be heard offering copies of this songbook (“Me or any of the boys would be glad to autograph it for you”) for 50 cents apiece (or 2 for “a reduced price — that’ll be a dollar”).
