  • New York:: George Braziller,, 1976.
By Hornung, Clarence P. and Fridolf Johnson.
4to, cloth, dust jacket, illustrated, 211 pp. DJ chipped and torn a bit at the top of spine, remnant of old price label on front endpaper, normal aging; otherwise very good. This is a very concise history of the printing and advertising arts that came out around the American Bicentennial. The work provides very good coverage of printing in the early colonial period, and includes some facsimile title pages from some of the most important works of that period.
