Jahrhundert (Bücher-Katalog 458). These three bookseller's catalogues feature 4306, 3875, and 3490 items respectively. (Blogie 442, but does not list vol. 3) The exteriors of this set show generally minor soiling and wear, but the spines are chipped at the head and tail, and the uppermost inch of the second volume spine wrapper is torn. Each volume has a contemporary date stamped on the front. Inside, the pages have darkened and become fragile at the edges. Some chips have been lost from corners (or a few from edges) but the text is intact. A loosely laid-in plate indicates that this set came from the reference library and stock of H. P. Kraus.
