Hardcover. 123pp. Octavo [21 cm] Slate cloth covered boards with gilt and metallic pink stamping on the spine, and the publisher's device stamped in metallic pink on the front cover. Near fine condition. In a very good dust jacket, with mild age-toning, and very minor rubbing and soiling. There is a small numerical sticker on the jacket's spine, and there is a very tiny open tear along the fold of the front flap. Elliott was educated at the University of California at Berkeley, where he obtained his B.A. in 1939 and his M.A. in 1941. As a writer, he received a Hudson Review Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
