A worthy successor to the acclaimed magazine "Nuestra Ciudad," Nuestro México was devoted to celebrating the artistic, literary, and social currents flowing out of the Mexican Revolution. Numbered among the magazine's contributors were many of the country's leading writers, artists, and public intellectuals. A partial list included: Diego Rivera, Fernando Leal, Roberto Montenegro, and José Clemente Orozco; Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Alfredo Jiménez, and Luis Márquez; Enrique Fernández Ledesma, Alfonso Toro, José Gorostiza, Bernardo Ortiz de Montellanos, Gregorio López y Fuentes, and Francisco Monterde. No magazine of the time better presented the face of Mexican high culture to the world.
