1925. Unbound. Fine. A press kit consisting of: a single photomechanically reproduced sheet printed with two punch holes along the left margin; printed 5.5" x 7.5" envelope; 5" x 7" black and white photograph; and 5" x 7" negative of the same image. Overall near fine with some folds to the sheet from being housed in the envelope; pin holes to the negative and a small nicks on lower edge, all as issued. A promotional mailer issued by Bell Laboratory promoting its newest invention, a system that can send an image over a telephone line through the use of a cylindrical apparatus that produces a negative. Included is a sheet describing the process in detail along with a negative and the photos it created. An example of the leaps in technological advancement taking place in the world of electronic transmission during the 1920. Scarce.
