Large 8vo, leather spine, and boards, decorative gilt and abbreviated title on spine, illustrated with 46 plates, 343 pp. Binding is worn, especially at extremities, with some chips and along edges, hinges a little weak, owner bookplate on front pastedown, a couple of somewhat loose pages, normal aging and browning, with some light scattered foxing; internally very good. This is an attractive French botanical title that has 46 plates. Twelve are in color, and the quality of these plates is quite respectable. The plates (color plates) stack up nicely against similar botanical works from this period.
