Print, 4to, chromolithograph, colored, matted attached to backing board at the top with two small pieces of archival tape. Slight aging and browning; otherwise bright and clean. This plate comes from Wright's (1836-1916) celebrated work on fruit (The Fruit Growers Guide). The beautiful plates from this work are credited to Miss Gertrude Hamilton and Marie Low. This chromolithograph features two types of apples, Lane's Prince Albert and the Chelmsford Wonder. This plate is extremely colorful and bright.
