This plate comes from Wright's (1836-1916) celebrated work on fruit(The Fruit Growers Guide). The beautiful plates from this work are credited to Miss Gertrude Hamilton and Marie Low. This colorful chromolithograph features five types of figs, including the White Marseilles and the Negro Largo, in a few different colors. A very attractively colored print.
