The true first edition of this work. Copyright page reads: "...for actors and friends of the auther only..." An underground theater classic. Not only was McClure associated with the San Francisco renaissance of the mid 1950's, but later he played a part in the poet's theater movement that was revived in San Francisco in the 1980's.
