Book condition: Very good with artful 1940s ownership inscription in green ink on flyleaf of first volume. Occasionally, small green pencil squiggles appear in margins, primarily in volume I.. Dust Jacket Condition: Original glassine jackets are mostly in good condition with a few tears in edges. The entire spine is missing from the dj of volume I and small pieces are missing from the heads of II and III. A nicely printed edition on handmade unbleached Arnold paper with deckle edges and largely untrimmed gatherings. Title pages printed in red and black. Wide margins.
