The spine and edges of the covers are very subtly faded. There is a 1/4 inch loss from the cloth at the head of the spine. There is a 1 inch split in the cloth at the foot of the spine. The edges of the rear endsheet are lightly moisture stained. The pages at the begining and at the end of the text are foxed. The majority of the pages are very clean and bright. The text block is cracked at p. 272.
