London: Michael Powell [Theatre], 1960. Vintage borderless French press photograph from the 1961 British film. Shown are Austrian actor Carl Boehm, getting to know a prostitute (Pamela Green) who will be dead just as soon as she's been photographed. On the verso is a rubber stamped credit for photographer Nicole, with her Paris address, along with a few manuscript annotations in brown marker regarding the film (under its French title "Le voyeur"), Powell, Green, and Boehm.

From the collection of experimental French filmmaker, film historian, and film preservationist Paul-Herve Mathis, with his rubber stamp on the verso. Mathis is best known for three remarkable shorts all made in 1970, "Vinyl," "Serenity," and "Bathroom."
