A superb collection containing the title essay as well as his essay "On Writing," along with 50 poems and 7 stories, including "So Much Water So Close to Home," which figured prominently in Robert Altman's film SHORT CUTS. This copy is SIGNED by the author on the title page and rather uncommon as such.
