Albert, based on the 1960 Geoffrey Household novel, about an ex-military man with a dark past that comes back to haunt him. "Frances Richardson" in manuscript pencil on the front wrapper, but this person's role in the film is undetermined. An interesting script, with several "storyboard" pages throughout, detailing scenery.
A story set in Middleburg, Virginia, circa 1869, just after the defeat of the Confederate Army, and nearing the end of the Civil War.
