Revolutionary War Manuscript Payment Document.

One page folio sheet (15" x 9"), docketed, about ten short lines of text. Some aging and browning, folds; otherwise very good or better. This is a manuscript document for payment to the Wethersfield Connecticut Selectmen for payment for clothing and the transportation of clothing and some other items to the Continental Army dated "March 5th, 1781." The amount of the request is two hundred ninety-two pounds eighteen shillings and five pence. The document is signed by George Stanley, and is docketed on the reverse as paid, signed by a S. Hubbard.
