- [New Hampshire]. , 1840s.
Mostly unbound forms, some parts in folded pamphlet form, folio, over 200 pp. Some chips, tears, folds and extremity wear, a bit of foxing, soiling and some staining, normal aging. A collection of official unused New-Hampshire Militia and State of New Hampshire forms that appear to be from the 1840s. Many forms relate to issuing orders for servicemen to report to a place at a particular time. There are no names listed on the forms, which were expected to be written on to the form. There are a couple of forms that were to be used to report inventory of supplies and soldiers. Some of the forms were to be used to appoint sergeants in the militia, and remind them of the duties required.
