Title printed in black on the backstrip. The text block edges have the publisher's bright yellow stain. Endpapers illustrated in black and white. Jacket is not present. Binding 'A'. Good. The extremities are gently bumped and rubbed, and the front hinge is going. The bottom fore edge corners of the frontispiece and title pages are very subtly damp stained. *Missing one of the twelve full-color plates by John R. Neill (the plate at p. 104).
