"This extensive facsimile publication marks the ninetieth anniversary of the final issue of "Klaxon: mensário de arte moderna", the first modernist journal in Brazil, which was launched following the 1922 Modern Art Week. "Klaxon" means horn that is a noise that disturbs. The publication aimed to represent its times and it presented itself as a "polymorph, omnipresent, restless, funny, exasperating, contradictory, envied, insulted and joyful" monthly publication.
