A compendium of literary commentary on the principal Paris sites with black and white engravings accompanying the latter -- ie. Andre Suares piece on "Paris Vu De La Cite," is illustrated by Henri Matisse. Other principal writers: Raymond Escholier, George Duhamel, Jean Giraudoux, Pierre Mac-Orlan, Colette, Paul Claudel et al.
