Top and bottom edges trimmed, fore edges rough trimmed. Very good condition. The boards are just a little bowed, the spine ends and corners of the covers are gently bumped. The dust jacket is in good condition, with a number of closed and open tears along the edges and folds. The longest closed tear measures 4" long. A first edition of the final volume in Vardis Fisher's tetralogy. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper.
