New York, 1955. unbound. Exceptional small archive consisting of a Dave "Curlee" Williams original autographed manuscript score and lyrics for his song "Uh, Uh, OO - Wee," 12.5 x 9.5 inched, 2 pages, with corrections and changes, Village Music, New York City, copyright 1955; accompanied by the original printed solicitation sheet music of the final draft, sent to vocalists and record company personnel. Also included is a signed standard uniform popular songwriters contract, 11 x 8.25 inches, 2 pages, October 13, 1955, between Dave "Curlee" Williams and Sidney Prosen, whereby Williams agrees to consign the song to publisher Hometown Music, for certain considerations. The contract has a paperclip stain in the upper left corner, but otherwise the items are in near fine condition.
